| Party Hog on the 'Highway To Hell'Sun, 13 Jan 2008 14:36:19 -0800 by thepartyhogI shot this footage on the Yellowhead Hwy, just west of the Alberta/BC border in Mount Robson Park. The plows had a chance to make one pass, then the extreme freezing rain hit and put a layer of ice about 2cm thick on the road, which made it bumpier than an old dirt farm road. What should have been a simple 9 hour trip, took me 2 days to get home instead...This is proof why Canadian road musicians have the toughest conditions to deal with in the world...none of this pansy rock star taking planes and shit.We have the largest distance to cover between gigs, the harshest road conditions, 8 months of the year, and if it's not someone sliding into you, or hitting a moose, then it's driving on frozen tires, leaky windows, and another cracked windshield...But I still love it...me against 'the road'.And I'll beat it EVERY time...
