| Another Nepali Store Clerk Killed in RobberyThu, 08 Jan 2009 05:17:46 -0800 by channelnickyA Fort Worth store clerk was killed as the result of a robbery on Tuesday morning, police said.A beer salesman found Jasbahadur Rai, 48, about 7 a.m. at the TL Food Store in the 3200 block of East Lancaster Avenue, police said. He was rushed to John Peter Smith Hospital where he died.The beer salesman saw a man, who may have been the assailant, drive away in a Ford Explorer, police said. He was described as a black man, about 6-1 and 170 pounds, wearing a blue hoodie with vertical tan stripes.The 48-year-old was hospitalized but later died.Police arrested 46-year-old Leonard Junior Coulter and charged him with capital murder.Friends of Rai said he was a kind man who did not deserve to lose his life."He's a sweet guy. He never did nothing wrong. I'm quite sure if they asked him for the money he would have gave it to them.
