| Ocean's ThreeWed, 07 Jan 2009 12:45:22 -0800 by ArchaeologyTVAdventurer, explorer, and maritime archaeologist Jim Delgado sits down for a chat with Archaeologys contributing editor, Heather Pringle, in a quiet bar in the old cannery town of Steveston, British Columbia. Delgado, the president of the world-famous Institute of Nautical Archaeology in Texas, entertains with tales of his underwater explorations of Khubilai Khans lost invasion fleet off the coast of Japan, and his discoveries of the lost gold rush port of San Francisco. A passionate and eloquent advocate of underwater archaeology, Delgado reminds us why we should care about the wrecks that lie along the seabed and what we gain by protecting them from treasure hunters. If youve ever wondered what makes a maritime archaeologist tick, pull up a chair and join us. Related: arcaheology underwater delgado khubilai khan | |

| Belief - Tribute to Alessa GillespieWed, 07 Jan 2009 12:00:25 -0800 by ValTannerSong: "Belief" by Gavin DeGrawProgram: Sony Vegas 8.0Time: 2-3 hrs.Clips: SH1, SH3Source: FungoCopyright: KonamiIdea: The song actually led to this video this time because when I heard it, especially the opening line, "Belief, makes things real," I knew it was perfect for Alessa because of her story: she was locked up in that horrid hospital room, and while there, she created the Nightmare we've all come to hate. It was Alessa's nightmares, fear, and pain that made up that world, and it all came out because of her powers. Silent Hill is simply a town turned upside-down by one child's pain, and the idea that three heroes (Harry, Heather, and Travis) had to suffer because of her pain is just so dark, but so cool. So, this is my little tribute to Alessa. The parts of text are from her diary (of course) and the ending of the video (where it switches to Heather) is meant to show that after Harry always "stood by" Alessa, when she had the chance, she did the same for Harry in return as Heather. | Love Story Intro [For Maddinerz, aka xmadihsm123]Wed, 07 Jan 2009 10:27:13 -0800 by OMJlifeSUCKSYeah, it sucks. I know. :/I just got Sony Vegas 8, and I don't really know how to use it yet. But I have a question for people who use this:HOW CAN I MAKE THE WORDS MOVE? If you know what I mean, and know the answer, please tell me! :/Oh, and I star in it, so the video at the end--"Heather Wells"--is me. I got bored and recorded myself singing along to JB songs. I'm SORRY it's so dark. My camera doesn't have a light on it, so...Anyway, check out Maddinerz "Love Story." It's a Jemi, and it's amazing! :] Related: "love story" intro | |
