| TheAmazingBeliever - "A Spiritual Disease Called Christianity"Wed, 07 Jan 2009 15:08:52 -0800 by SeenAndNotSeenSatire."Hey Youtube. Christianity is a false teaching. Please do not call Jesus Christ 'God.' Jesus Christ said 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No man comes to the Father except through me.' As much conflict as he's had with his church, you know, you can't -- I'm not even sure you can trust him on that. Jesus was deluded in his mind and he thought he was doing the Lord's work there, but he wasn't. God didn't appear to him and tell him, 'Well, I'm going to allow this just because I want to do it now.' God had nothing to do with the Gospel. "Jesus Christ said, 'I'm gonna allow this because I wanna do it now!' and eventually you have no moral code. Think about it. Christians think that Jesus Christ is moral, but I guess it's pretty easy to be moral when you make your own moral code. Romans killed Jesus Christ, and to nail that sin to a cross -- that's the appropriate punishment. Many people say that Christ died for us. That's what they say. No, God wouldn't do that. No, that would be evil. "Man is affected by a spiritual disease called Christianity, and here's why: If you are not a Christian, and you do good works, you go to Hell. Many people say that they love their sin. They're slaves to pornography, their booze, their drugs, their -- all that stuff. And they don't want to give that up, so if they convert to Christianity, they can sin and repent. Men masturbate. I know a bunch of them that do that. You do, of course. You can F this, F that. Christians -- they get a Bible while they're in there and they masturbate in the Bible. And they don't have any consequence because, see, it's like this: If you're a Christian, you think, 'Well, I'm never going to be judged for what I've done here on Earth, so I can just do whatever I want.' I know a bunch of them that do that. It's just like Satanism. That's why we have many Christians in jail. All of the evil rulers throughout history have been Christians. All these Christians are leading revolts throughout the country. Just like the Crusades. You can say that you believe in Jesus Christ and all this crap because God's gonna forgive all sin. No, God wouldn't do that because God does not exist. God was the stupidest mistake I ever made in my life."Oh, but I'd like to just bring up one more little thing: The Amazing Believer. He said that, 'Morality comes from religion. You cannot have morality without religion!' And he said that, 'Christianity is not a religion!' So philosophically, he said that you cannot have morality with Christianity. That's why we deny Jesus as the Messiah. That's why we have morality and science, not gods. God had nothing to do with the origin of the universe. Convert to atheism. Deny God. Think about it." | New Chinese-Americans: In "Splendor," The Truth of Falun GonWed, 07 Jan 2009 14:37:21 -0800 by NTDTV"Ricky" Chen could be considered a normal teenager from Mainland China - he's been in the US for only about half a year.Currently studying at a New York high school, Ricky decided to kick off the new year at the Brooklyn Academy of Music with a show celebrating the traditional culture of his homeland.[Ricky Chen, Student]:"I thought that it was really something new... because the New Year shows in Mainland China are often created just for government officials and VIPs. As for a normal person like myself, I feel like this show offered a lot of new, fresh ideas and a chance to understand a bit more. It was more relevant to me, and the meaning was quite deep as well." But in the end, he found that the Chinese New Year Splendor also shed light on one of the most pressing, and controversial events taking place in today's China - the persecution of the spiritual practice Falun Gong. The program portraying this subject, "Heaven Awaits Us Despite Persecution" offers some of the show's most serious, and relevant moments.[Ricky Chen, Student]:"When I was really moved... well, particularly when I saw those Falun Gong practitioners in Mainland China being persecuted. In China we generally see just so much negative, anti-Falun Gong propaganda, yet really these people should be well-regarded; they're practicing spiritual cultivation, simply that, yet they've encountered this kind of persecution... and in the end, to see that these Falun Gong practitioners who've been brutally treated enter heaven and become Buddhas, I was just so moved." For Ricky, the show gave the truth about an issue that the Chinese state-run media he's used to blanket in constant propaganda. But for another of the day's attendees, it hit even closer to home: The show was a chance to see elements of his own story, played-out on the stage for all the world to view.Mr. Cheng, who didn't give his first name for reasons of safety, is a Falun Gong practitioner who's recently come to the US from China after encountering harrassment for his spiritual beliefs.[Mr. Cheng, Chinese Refugee]:"I've now seen this show three times. This time, it's even more astounding. There is this kind of power that penetrates your heart and soul, and I couldn't stop crying. When I went to NTD's oil painting exhibit, I saw a painting and the feeling that I got from that was also very unprecedented. I started practicing Falun Gong in 1997 in mainland China, and I came here due to the persecution... I just came to the US in March." Two Chinese citizens - the youth tired of discriminatory propaganda, and the family man and spiritual believer escaping persecution. For both, it took a journey of thousands of miles to hear the truths that could not be expressed back in China. They saw the Chinese New Year Splendor in New York City, but it was like looking through a window to the country they'd just left. This has been Ryan Mitchell reporting for NTD, New York.
