| Mamba Velineon Lithium Evader BX Speed runsThu, 08 Jan 2009 17:47:24 -0800 by 1empyreI decided to run 13.2V in my brushless Duratrax Evader BX, but my Mamba 5700 was not up to the task so I picked up a Traxxas Velineon (VXL) 3500 motor and ran it with the Mamba Max. It runs like a champ. I've upgraded the idler gear with the aluminum one for the Nitro Evader. Waiting for the diff gear and/or balls to fail, but so far so good. Geared 78/29 and this works pretty well. Temps were a little high, but so is the gearing. It was rainy and my slipper clutch was acting up, so these are not actual top speeds.
