This one pertains to a spacing/movement technique I've been dissecting: Buffered Dash Canceling (BDC).This concept is probably not foreign to anyone who is moderately versed in SSBB, however, I take the concept and break it down in the video. Due to Ganon's weight:jump height ratio, he's able to do some pretty interesting things with the BDC.Like my first video, this video is 90% instructional and 10% practical. That is, don't watch this video looking for cut-and-paste tricks to add to your play style. There's a lot to be worked on here, and like all topics in DAD's Smash Lab, the purpose of making an introductory vid about BDC is in order to help Ganon's collective metagame advance fluidly and aggressively. It's like a whole new metagame. I'm fucking tired of the same Scizor, Heatran, Kingdra, Salamence and Zapdos on every single fucking team. | Pokemon Crystal: Vs RedWed, 31 Dec 2008 11:14:09 -0800 by BassNTreble94Some stuff to consider:- Yes, I realize Red's name turned to ZDD and his Pokemon are overlevelled. I'm playing a hack which made things *a bit* more challenging, but easy nevertheless. The overall game is still the same, so don't worry about that. I wasn't hacking or anything; it was just the game itself.- Since VBA can't sync music well, I replaced it with music. It's Poke Floats from Super Smash Bros Melee... plays during battle.- Don't think that the movesets are standard in the GSC metagame... most are just for fun. For example, look at my Persian's moveset; pure novelty. Others are just HMs that are needed to get inside the cave.- Red has two Full Restores which he ONLY uses on Pikachu- His lineup (in the normal game... the hack just boosted up their levels really, but their movesets are the same):Pikachu level 81: Thunder, Charm, Quick Attack, Thunderbolt (I've never seen him use this move)Origin: Yellow version starter... only without the Light BallEspeon level 73: Reflect, Mud-Slap, Swift, PsychicOrigin: The Eevee from Celadon Department (Espeon is its canonical evolution, I believe)Snorlax level 75: Body Slam, Amnesia, Rest, Snore (I beat him a lot with a level 23 Gastly)Origin: The Snorlax near Cycling Road (the one your protagonist can capture is near Diglett's cave, which I assume moved from that pier connecting Lavender Town and Vermilion City)Venusaur level 77: Giga Drain (never seen him use this move), Sunny Day, Synthesis, SolarbeamOrigin: The Bulbasaur in Cerulean City in Yellow versionCharizard level 77: Flamethrower, Fire Spin (rarely used this move), Slash, Wing AttackOrigin: The Charmander in Route 24 at the way to Bill's in Yellow versionBlastoise level 77: Whirlpool, Rain Dance, Surf, BlizzardOrigin: The Squirtle in Vermilion City in Yellow versionBy the way, the origins are really assumptions because Red's rival Blue seems to have his Red/Blue version team lineup without a starter instead of Yellow version team lineup...
