Among the missing elements are closing credits, so the song in the middle part of the film is "Pink Cloud Tracing Paper" by Asobi SeksuThe genesis of this film came when I read about "Numbers Stations," which are real radio broadcasts found in many parts of the world that transmit on shortwave radio frequencies and are recorded voices reading out a series of seemingly random letters or numbers (it varies from station to station). These radio stations have been determined with some certainty to be one-way coded transmissions to espionage agents in the field in various places. More information and recordings of these stations can be found at The Conet ProjectAnyway the plot of this film (I don't suppose I need to bother warning of Spoilers for a 2 minute film) used them as a starting point for a story that was intended to be about a seemingly normal foreign guy in Shanghai who has what looks like it will be a one night fling with a local girl, but we see intercut with it scenes of him listening to these radio broadcasts. In reality they are both spies, and the radio station is informing him through code that he is being hunted by the female agent. Hence the rather violent climax of the piece.Do I have regrets about this film? I have to be honest and say yes, in its current state one cannot understand what's going on without prior explanation, and that really cannot be acceptable for a film. I was perhaps too ambitious, with a 4 page script and working in hand-drawn animation, which is a very time consuming process. If I were to do it again, I would simplify, simplify, simplify. | Blades 70Thu, 08 Jan 2009 16:23:34 -0800 by 62STEVEWMy father was W.D.S. ( Dave) Waddington. He flew & led the Blades from their formation in 1970 until he left the RAF in Jan 1971. The Blades was an aerobatic group, flying T5 Jet Provosts, based out of Linton-On-Ouse formed by Instructors from 1 FTS. I recently found a few photo negative strips containing these pictures. I had them scanned in, cleaned them up a bit & put them in a rough sequence ( If you look very closely you see there are different planes featured ).I assume that the regular Blades members were flying in these pics. The pilots are listed at the begining of the "video"I have no Idea how to make a video & this is my first attempt. Please excuse the crappy IMG1 text in the middle & the fact that the pics are repeated & blended in/out too quickly & the music is too long etc etc. I have a lot to learn...Anyway enjoy the film ! Clarkson's wife had bought him a 1963 Grosser Mercedes for Christmas,[2] and May bought a 1972 Rolls-Royce Corniche Coupé "HJ Mulliner-Park-Ward" edition. They are set a series of challenges, including a handling test on a slalom course vs a 1.1 L Hyundai i10, a top speed and braking run, a quarter mile "push" race, and a test to successfully and legally park their cars in the middle of London. Neither presenter manages to complete the final two tests, but Jeremy tries to claim victory over James's "Ford Zephyr" on the basis of better performance and handling, having more (hydraulic) toys, being owned by more celebrities (albeit mainly military dictators, vs James' camp icons), a louder horn, and ultimately "having more petrol in" when James runs out and has to syphon some from the Mercedes, still hunting for a space.
