If he morphs to a Moai, he'll unleash a lot of those attacks of Moai from Gradius, you can destroy them to avoid getting hit. Lastly, if it turns into a giant hand, just don't stick to it, in case, you are cornered, jump kick to it's back or skeleton ape + puppet master. Anyway, this thing's weak against fire, you might want to use White Dragon soul and a strong bullet soul, on a note though, Ukoback at lv.1 still deals heavy damage. Hehe, now that you get to transform into a bat after the fight, make sure you get Skeleton Ape to finally get the best chance of acquiring the Soul Eater Ring that'll help in soul farming.
